1.
My Dear, I fear we're lost And we're not what we once were All head, no heart We're biting and sharp, full of answers And we turn inside Where we dim the lights We stay out of sight But we're lost Frozen, indecision In fear of what might happen Fear and love, why can't I tell you apart? Fear and love, why can't I tell you apart? The power's out Feel the darkness The power's out Feel the darkness Frozen, indecision In fear of what might happen Chosen, this inaction Keep our heart in the ice bin Fear and love, why can't I tell? Fear and love, why can't I tell you? Fear and love, why can't I tell you apart? Fear and love Fear and love Fear and love Fear and love
2.
My dear I fear we're lost cause you won't turn the light on It once burned bright, for those lost and stuck in the darklands Now you've turned inside And you close your eyes And you hide the light Now we're lost Frozen, indecision Fear for what might have been Fear and love why can't I tell you apart? The power's hot, turn the lights on The power's hot, turn the lights on Frozen, indecision A balancing act on a knife's edge Chosen, your inaction Keep your heart in the ice bin Fear and love why can't I tell? Fear and love why can't I tell you? Fear and love why can't I tell you apart? Fear and love Fear and love Fear and love Fear and love

about

The Fear and Love EP chronicles the evolution of one of the most important songs on Halflight. It features a brand new version of the song (Alternate Version), the original 2017 demo, and the Halflight album version.

The Fear and Love EP was made to commemorate the release of The Halflight Podcast. In the Fear and Love episode, Brent James Driscoll (creator & producer of the Emmy winning Sessions In Place) talk about the original demo from 2017 and how different it is from the album version.

If you were jonesing for some 90s angst, you’re going to be really, really happy.
